PHMG one of 75 UK businesses named ‘WIRED Trailblazers’

Business updates
PHMG, the world’s leading audio branding platform, is just one of 13 businesses across Northwest England (and 75 across the wider UK) to have been named a WIRED Trailblazer.

The Trailblazers program, sponsored by leading bank HSBC UK, recognizes those businesses identified as transforming the UK into a global hub of innovation.

Other industry-leading businesses receiving the Trailblazer accolade include men’s health brand Numan, electric car subscription platform Onto, and animation powerhouse Aardman.

The program includes a ‘Scale-Up Knowledge Base’, where ambitious businesses can learn from these successful ‘scale-up’ enterprises: not start-ups, but fast-growth businesses with solid foundations.

WIRED has additionally named PHMG’s original home, Manchester, as the UK’s top regional ‘tech city’ — praising its low costs, strong transport links, and large talent pool (drawn in no minor part by its strong cultural and sporting cachet).

PHMG Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Williamson, said: “Our growing team are privileged to support thousands of clients across the globe. Being named a Trailblazer reflects the hard work we’re putting in to grow that subscribing base further, and help ever-more brands to harness the unmatched power of sound to build deeper connections with their customers.”

PHMG employs over 700 people globally, including 525 across offices in Northwest England, and counts household name brands like Rawlings, Samsung and Coca-Cola among its clients.
